Arjun channels his inner Shah Rukh Khan with "Tujhe Dekha To"

British singer, songwriter and producer Arjun brings us another spellbinding remix. With his trademark fusion of modern contemporary R&B / Pop music perfectly mixed with classic Hindi / Bollywood tracks, Arjun is once again showcasing his creative talents, remixing rapper Drake’s chart hit ‘Hold On We’re Going Home’. Adding the Bollywood touch, Arjun has remixed the track with a classic Hindi number ‘Tujhe Dekha To,’ originally sung by the legendary Lata Mangeshkar and Kumar Sanu. Check it out!

Taken from the timeless Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge starring Shahrukh Khan and Kajol, “Tujhe Dekha To” is still one of the most loved romantic tracks of Bollywood. The film remains one of Bollywood’s all time box office hits, and this week marks the 18th anniversary of it’s release.

Arjun’s reworking of the song is an ambient spacious R&B soundscape fused with an orchestral instrumentation, maintaining a traditional Bollywood feel. The track pushes the boundaries sonically in an attempt to bridge the worlds of East and West together, another perfectly balanced mix by the multi talented Arjun. The song features the Hindi vocal talents of producer Charles Bosco, and up and coming Bengali singer Saida Tani.
