Get ready to see Vidya Balan in an all-new avatar. The actress is gearing up to record for a music video for Ghanchakkar. According to sources, the planning that is going around the video is pretty massive.

An insider says,

“This will be the first time that Vidya will shoot a music video for a film, though she has already done an item song in Ferrari Ki Sawaari. Amit Trivedi has composed the song, which will be shot keeping in mind Vidya’s character in the film.”

Talking about the “quirky” music track, director Raj Kumar Gupta says,

“The song will, reflect her character of a bindaas Punjabi house-wife. It will be a tribute to all the husbands, boyfriends and fiancés in the world.”

The director also adds that the sequence of the music video in the film is yet to be decided. Produced by UTV Motion Pictures, Ghanchakkar is set to release on 28th June 2013.
