The Bhakti Movement takes music to another Level!

Ashwin Krishnan Subramanian (born September 30, 1985), also known by his stage name Aks, is an Indian-American composer, singer, and songwriter who regularly produces in the Bollywood film and Pop scene, as well as for Hip-Hop productions. He is best known for his unique style of presenting global bass with a strong South Asian music influence.

A student of Oscar-winner AR Rahman, Aks was a part of the first batch of students at the KM Music Conservatory in Chennai. Not only did Aks pass the auditions to enter the school, he was even first in his class! Aks had the chance to assist AR Rahman on projects like Raavan, Adaa and Delhi 6, he also performed background vocals for various scores. He has scored music for a number of independent films in India and the US, in addition to composing  for devotional and pop albums. He also frequently performs live shows of his original works, the latest of which is “The Bhakti Movement!”
