Deepika Padukuone is living it up!

Deepika Padukone has proved her talent and star power with her box office hits in the past and she’s making 2013 another year of hits! Padukone is very excited about her upcoming two flicks, Abbas Mustan’s Race 2 and Ayan Mukherjee’s Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani.

“They are two extremely different films to begin with, so each has its own Jim. As an actor I want to explore as many emotions onscreen as possible and not stick to a genre just because it’s worked for me,” said Padukone.

Race 2, her first release of 2013, is a sequel to the action thriller Race. With the return of Saif Ali Khan, Anil Kapoor and a cameo from Bipasha Basu from the original Race, the movie also features Ameesha Patel, John Abraham, Jacqueline Fernandez, along with Padukone. The action flick is something different that Padukone has taken up, something different from the usual romantic comedies she’s popular for.

“Things like these challenge you out of your comfort zone and keep you on your toes, so it’s something I look forward to as well…Be it an Aarakshan or a Cocktail, I am just glad that people have accepted me in all roles,” Padukone said.

As for juggling time between her films and endorsements, she admits that the pace does get hectic but she’s “living it up,” to quote the starlet, and she has no complaints about her busy life.
