Abhishek Bachchan to anchor for the first time!

After wowing the audience with his rib tickling performance in Bol Bachchan, the Junior Bachchan is all set to add another feather to his cap! The actor is gearing up to anchor for the very first time at this year’s Zee Cine Awards, along with Riteish Deshmukh!

Amidst all the hustle bustle and maddening preparations for the D- Day at the Yash Raj Studios, Abhishek Bachchan said,

“I’m very happy to be a part of Zee Cine Awards (ZCA) this year. I’m going to be hosting the show along with my friend and brother, Riteish Deshmukh this time. After nearly 15 years, Zee Cine Awards is returning to Mumbai and our effort will be to make it entertaining for the audiences worldwide. We make films for our audiences. Without their love and support we are truly nothing. And that is the core of Zee Cine Awards. The audiences have appreciated Riteish and me together in films, I hope they like our pairing at ZCA also because we are really working hard for it.”

 

Echoing the same sentiment Riteish Deshmukh said,

“Abhi and I are going to be hosting an award function for the very first time together. Thanks to Zee Cine Awards for giving us this opportunity. It is a huge responsibility that Zee has bestowed on us and we hope to entertain our audiences to the hilt. The platform of Zee is huge and it reaches millions of audiences across the globe. Viewers Choice is a demographic representation and we respect the choice of our audiences. This is the year’s biggest awards show….so audience, tayyar ho jayiye…kyunki hum kamar kas ke tayaari kar rahe hain…”

Prod him further on who, according to him, should win the best actor award this year and pat comes the reply,

“The Best Actor in my opinion should totally go to my favorite Ranbir Kapoor for Barfi!.”

With the glitterati of Indian cinema all set to make a presence at the award function, the channel has confirmed that heartthrobs Shah Rukh Khan, Anushka Sharma, Katrina Kaif, Deepika Padukone, Ayushman Khurana and many more will give spectacular performances this year!
