A-List Bollywood celebs launch Kai Po Che trailer!

2013 has only just begun and Disney UTV is ready with 2 very interesting film projects — Kai Po Che and Himmatwala. “Kai Po Che” is an adaptation of Chetan Bhagat’s “The Three Mistakes of My Life” whereas Himmatwala is a remake of the cult classic from 1983. “Kai Po Che” has been generating so much buzz in Bollywood that A-listers like Hrithik Roshan, Arjun Rampal and Sohail Khan were the ones to unveil the trailer of UTV Motion Pictures’ and Abhishek Kapoor’s – “Kai Po Che”! The actors came out in support of their good friend at the launch of the trailer held at Cinemax Versova.

Says Abhishek:

“All three of them are really special to me. The film is about friendship, and they are my closest friends in the industry. I couldn’t have thought of anyone better than them.”

Ask him if any of the three have watched the film yet, and he says,

“Only Arjun has seen the film, Hrithik and Sohail have been really busy.”

Abhishek also insists that although he feels obliged to have such prominent faces from the industry launching the first look of his film, but it is not a promotion tactic.

“This is not a strategy or a planned move. It is purely out of love for each other,” he says.

Kai Po Che! is based on three friends and is set against the religious politics in the state or Gujarat. Sushant Singh Rajput, Raj Kumar Yadav and Amit Sadh play the three friends, while Amrita Puri plays the female lead. The film is set to hit theaters on February 22. Not to mention, with the Disney UTV name attached to these movies, you can be sure that film will provide family entertainment to the masses.
