Prita Chhabra Spreads Christmas Cheer With "The Christmas Song"

Desi music artists aren’t ones to shy away from breaking out their inner Christmas elf. A couple days ago, we informed you about Shweta Pandit’s Christmas jingle, and now, we’re proud to announce that our favorite Canadian – Prita Chhabra – has got into Christmas mode as well!

As many of Prita’s fans know, Christmas is one of the busiest touring times for this international recording artist, who is often seen hopping between Toronto and Orlando to perform at holiday events in two of North America’s most happening cities! I think you’ll agree with me that she may be travelling almost as much as Santa during the Christmas season!

In-between her annual Christmas tour, Prita took a moment to record an acoustic video performance of her favorite Christmas carol, “The Christmas Song“, with a world renowned musician based in Toronto named Giulio Paonessa:

Prita began her Christmas tour this year performing at the 2012 Orlando Christmas Parade for an audience in the thousands! Prita was featured alongside a variety of other American celebrities including Michael Winslow (beat-boxing star of the “Police Academy” movies) ; Orlando Jones (star of “MADtv”) ; and Johnny Martino (known for playing ‘Paulie Gatto’ in “The Godfather”)!

From the Orlando Christmas Parade, Prita returned to her native Canada to perform for the 3rd year in a row at Troy’s Toy Drive in Milton (Ontario), renamed “Miracle On Main Street” this year. The event, presented by the Tiger Jeet Singh Foundation, reached its all time high – check out the footage of Prita performing live at the event on Canada’s #1 morning show, Breakfast Television, on the Citytv network:
