Juhi Jagiasi is always on the look out for her next big creative venture. She established Jewel of India a few years back, and this year, she is proud to launch the 2013 Jewel of India Calendar Hunt reality show. Last year, Jewel of India launched their first annual calendar, which featured Miss India International 2011, Prerena Patel, and Miss Teen India International 2011, Priyanka Golani. Since the launch, many expressed their interest in being in the calendar, and especially as the feature on the cover page. So, Jagiasi came up with the idea of finding their cover model via a reality show format.
Viewers get to join in on the quest to find the eventual winners, as the entire process will be aired online through a series of six episodes. Voting is also being done online via Desiclub.com. Four episodes have already been posted and the finale is 1 week from today! The finalists have been judged in several categories such as:
- Natural beauty and style
- Most photogenic – Chosen after professional make-up artists helped glam up the contestants.
- Posing – Contestants were clothes from Jagiasi’s own, WOW Collections line
- Cooking Healthy
- Fitness – basketball, kickboxing
- Talent – Music and Dance
Throughout the show, contestants have had to prove their worth in these categories and have also been given tips from those in the industry. Check out the promo and check out the episodes on Facebook at the Jewel of India FB page!
