Foji been hard at work over the past year and a half, and now presents to you his first single entitled ‘Whatever!’ The single, which is taken from his forthcoming album, has been masterfully penned and composed by Foji himself. It also features the evergreen melodious vocals of Sudesh Kumari.
Foji started singing at the tender age of eight after growing up listening to Yamla Jatt, Surinder Kaur, Chamkila, Dildar Sandhu, K Deep and Jagmohan Kaur to name a few. He was further inspired to pursue his dream of becoming a successful UK Bhangra singer-songwriter with a trip to India at age 13 where he learned how to read and write Punjabi.
Foji honed his vocal range and skills further under the guidance of highly trained Indian classical musician and vocalist Soni Atwal. With a great amount of knowledge and even more to learn, Foji started to work on his debut album. After being very successful and making a name for himself, Foji has decided to bring you a new album and new tracks.
The trailer for his new track below is a humorous family video featuring Deana Uppal, Big Brother UK Finalist 2012 and Tommy Sandhu from BBC Asian Network who portray typically every day household scenarios.
