In the US, we recently got news that Hillary Clinton has been hospitalized due to a blood clot, and now, we have gotten word that in India, director David Dhawan has been hospitalized!
Dhawan was attending wedding celebrations at Bunty Walia’s (who married Vanessa Parmar) house when the incident occurred. Dhawan had seemed okay throughout the night, but then passed out, while chatting with actors Sanjay Dutt and Abhishek Bachchan. Dutt and Bachchan did their best to revive him, but were unsuccessful.
It has also been reported that Apoorva Lakhia and Kunal Kholi saved the director’s life by acting quickly and calling an ambulance. Dhawan was rushed to Lilavati Hospital. It is reported that his blood sugar had dipped below normal and he fell into a diabetic coma.
