Shweta Subram to sing with Salim-Sulaiman!

I’m sure you’re asking yourself, what’s this post “aboot”… and now probably you’re wondering why am I using the word “aboot” instead of about?  Well, this post has to do with Canada, so as an American, it is my job to joke with our neighbors up north.

Now that I got that out of my system, let me get to the main point of this post.  Bollywood music directors, Salim-Sulaiman, and the sensational Shweta Subram (an Indian Canadian based artist) will be joining forces as the featured entertainment for Dhadkan in Ottawa this Saturday at 6:00 pm at the Ottawa Convention Center (55 Colonel By Drive, Ottawa, Ontario k1n9j2).

Dhadkan is a community based fundraiser for the Heart Institute of Ottawa.  To add some excitement to the night, of course the organizers wanted to add an Indian beat to the show, and what better choice than the addition of Shweta, Salim, and Sulaiman!

Around 700 guests, including many high profile dignitaries and successful South Asian entrepreneurs from all over Canada, will be gracing the fundraiser.  Parliamentarian Deepak Obhrai (Member pf Parliament for Calgary East and Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Foreign Affairs) will also be present.

So, Canadian friends, have a heart and support this amazing cause!  We’re sure Shweta’s singing along with Salim and Sulaiman will get you pumped!
