'Sa Re Ga Ma Pa' 2012

Engaging the audience is clearly the melody on Zee TV’s new season of ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa 2012’ Previous editions of the show over the last 17 years have viewers swearing that it is India’s only credible music reality show that presents superlative young talent who have gone on to make a mark in the music industry. Zee TV is bring back ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa’ after two years.  This show is not only about bringing the melody back, but also coming out with a bang. This new bang is going to be about more involvement, more technology and more knowledge dissemination.

A fun filled household show will now become interactive innovation through mobile and online applications that will attract more viewers. ‘Call & Sing App’ is an app for mobile devices which will be a new addition. New elements will be added such as changing the scale or sur of the song or throwing a request for a jugalbandi. A unique musical quiz contest will come on screens before every break and the answer will be given just before opening of next segment.

Auditions will take place in over 21 cities in India and across the world there where over one million participants have showcased their talent. Viewers have been given the opportunity to evaluate these performance with the use of voting meters.

The panel of renowned judges are music director duo, Sajid-Wajid, bassist-lead vocalist of the band Indian Ocean, Rahul Ram, and music composer and singer, Shankar Mahadevan.

Tune in to find out more surprises, ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa 2012’ will premiere on Zee TV on 29th September at 7.30pm and will be aired every Saturday and Sunday.
