Raw yogic Ladoo

WHAT DO YOU NEED? 

  • 2 cups Almond meal
  • 2 -3 Tbsp Coconut oil
  • 2 Tbsp Turmeric powder
  • 2 Tbsp Sage Honey
  • 1/2 cup Dehydrated Coconut meat or coconut flakes
  • A pinch of Saffron

 WHAT DO YOU DO?

  • Mix the above ingredients until it becomes a paste and form it into the shape you like
  • Store in a cool dry place

BENEFITS

Almonds – High protein, Vitamin E. Magnesium, enhances growth of healthy strong hair, maintains good skin complexion, known to reduce cholesterol, prevent heart diseases and prevent gallstones.

Turmeric – Well known for its anti- bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties, turmeric can be used internally and externally. Honey– A natural energy booster known as a cleansing tonic high in essential vitamins and minerals works as an anti-bacterial and anti-fungal cures yeast infection, arthritis, heals wounds and burns quicker and helps speedy recovery of sore throats and hangovers.

Saffron–  Aids in circulation of digestive organs; coats the intestinal membranes of the stomach which helps in soothing gastrointestinal issues.The compound ‘crocin’ found in Saffron is also known to reduce fever, cures insomnia, purifies blood, can be used externally to cure dryness and other skin conditions.
