Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna and Kuch To Log Kahenge complete one year!

In India, television shows come and go.  Only a few greats have lasted for years.  It is a great milestone to reach the one year mark on any show!  Star Plus’s Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna and Sony TV’s Kuch To Log Kahenge have both just reached their one year mark! The stars of the show are all very excited and proud of this milestone, as they should be.

Both shows have portrayed a unique storyline that fans have fallen in love with. Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna tells the story of two orphaned sisters who are raised in a loving family consisting of their grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, uncle and cousin. The love between these two sisters is unparalleled.  It is the story of how each one sacrifices everything and anything for the other whenever either sister needs the support.

Recently on the show, Manvi has finally recovered from cancer, thanks to a bone marrow transplant with her sister, Jeevika, and is happily marrying the love her life, her best friend Virat.  Jeevika is having a tough time reconciling with Swamini bua because Jeevika had to abort her child in order to save her sister. In the past few episodes it looks like Jeevika has made some sort of decision to punish herself and try to win over Swamini bua’s support.  Let’s see what is this darkness that is following Jeevika!

Kuh Toh Log Kahenge started off as a simple story of a girl, Nidhi, trying to make it through studying medicine to please her family. This then turns into a love story where Nidhi falls for her much older mentor, the always grumpy Dr. Ashutosh! This love story attaches Nidhi’s past to her present when Nidhi finds out that Dr. Ashutosh’s adopted father is actually the Grandfather she never knew because her parents had eloped. Then there was Dr. Mallika, Ashutosh’s best friend who was always in love with him constantly trying to break up the couple.

After many make-ups and break-ups, misunderstandings, age-related issues and over-reacting the couple have finally settled down together. But now it seems like there’s a naughty little girl that will come into their lives to reek some havoc! Keep watching to find out what this little character is up to!
