It’s no joke, Daler Mehndi’s music has been making people “DALER-ious” ever since he hit the music scene in 1995. Once he transitioned to Bollywood music scores, “Mehndi Mania” has only grown. After topping Zoom hit list with his super hit ‘Hum Toh Hain Cappuccino’ from Ekta Kapoor’s ‘Kya SuperKool Hain Hum’, success express Daler Mehndi continues to create waves with another bombastic track ‘Sing Raja’ in the soon to be released movie ‘Joker’ (starring Sonakshi Sinha and Akshay Kumar).
Daler Mehndi’s power-packed and boisterous vocals are best suited for the track. As always, this track too delivers full on Mehndi ‘Masti’ and Daler ‘Dhamaal’. Composed by G. V. Prakash, the track is a concoction of desi tunes fused with western beats. You won’t be able to resist tapping your foot and dancing along to the tune.
G.V. Prakash, who has always considered Mehndi his lucky mascot, has earlier worked with Mehndi to give a smashing Tamil hit song – ‘Om Zarrare’. That track was shot on Rajnikanth and created a rage owing to Mehndi’s powerful vocals. The latest track ‘Sing Raja’ has already become an instant hit on release and has managed to hook music buffs to its groovy music.
Sonakshi Sinha and Akshay Kumar starrer Joker is directed by Farah Khan’s husband Shirish Kunder and is set to release on August 31. Till then, check out the tune and dance away!
