New York Indian Film Festival Picks Up Vishesh Sharma's ‘Color of Anger’

Producer, director, and editor Vishesh Sharma has completed the short film Color of Anger and now New York City is invited to enjoy the film as it will be viewed at this year’s New York Indian Film Festival May 26, 2012.

Color of Anger is the story of a teenage boy’s natural instinct to revolt and rebel with the deadly combination of his drug addiction and extreme athleticism, against his domineering abusive father. One such state of angst transforms his rebellion into a seemingly criminal intent. He is transported into a fatal world where the lines between real and illusion are blurred.

The Indo-American Arts Council is a registered not-for-profit arts organization passionately dedicated to showcasing, building awareness, and celebrating artists of Indian origin in the performing, visual and literary arts. Annual festivals of art, dance, play writing and film are scheduled through the year, with several special events and book launches.

Sharma is a New York based Producer, Director & Editor, who grew up in Delhi, India. Coming from a family of film distributors, Vishesh Sharma was always interested in various aspects of media and entertainment. He joined Weshiv Wision Production house in Delhi in 1999 before he moved to the US in July 2000.
