Bollywood What's Happenin'

Raunchy sequel, "Kya Super Kool Hai Hum," to hit theaters this summer!

The raunchy sequel of the 2005 sex comedy, Kya Kool Hai Hum, will be releasing this August! Aptly titled, “Kya Super Kool Hai Hum,” the sequel to the comedy brings back the original stars, the “item boys” Ritesh Deshmukh and Tusshar Kapoor!

Directed by Sachin Yardi and produced by Ekta Kapoor, the film also stars model-turned-actress Sarah Jane Dias, Neha Sharma, Chunky Pandey and Anupam Kher. The movie’s trailer uses clips from Karan Johar’s family drama “Khabi Khushi Khabi Gham,” but Ritesh Deshmukh told reporters at the movie’s first look launch that it’s all in good fun and even thanked Johar for allowing them to use the footage!

Deshmukh said:

“We are not making fun of it (K3G). Actually we are making fun of our film, that our film is not a family drama. It’s not a film that can bring families together… It’s not about getting families together. It’s about having fun and enjoying ourselves. None of the footage that we have used in the film can be used without the permission of the filmmaker. Hats off to Karan who has a sense of humor, not many people would have the guts to give their films to be made fun off. All of us here would like to thank Karan for extending his support by giving the footage of K3G for our film.”

This hilarious comedy doesn’t hold anything back, definitely not the family flick you’d want to watch with your parents around! Just check out this trailer and let us know if you’re excited to see “Kya Super Kool Hai Hum!”
