London Paris New York stars Ali Zafar and Aditi Rao recently performed at the Kala Ghoda festival. Zafar was tight on time and in order to get to the festival on time Zafar spontaneously decided to take the Mumbai local train to get from Churchgate to Andheri!
Ali Zafar said:
I don’t know why, but I just instinctively decided to travel in the local train and experience this side of Mumbai. Since my friends had warned me of huge crowds during rush hour, I was forced to hide my face. But it was fun traveling by train. It felt real and helped me connect with the city’s energy. I would love to do it again.
Since it was rush hour Zafar threw on a hat and shawl to hide his identity but a few fans still recognized the star and he had a great time interacting with them on the train!

Ali is a very grounded person who has no starry airs. When traveling by train was suggested he jumped at the suggestion. We were a little concerned about his safety but his enthusiasm was infectious and we let him do it only after he got into this get up
