The dynamic world famous duo, Metz and Trix, are back at it with their new single “OMG.” This track, which has already been labeled as a guaranteed dance floor smasher and has been described as a euphoric pop song with street-smart savvy lyrics, marks a return to the studio for the boys to collaborate with urban music DJ/Producer Surinder Rattan.
“OMG” received its first TV play as a part of BBC Asian Network’s Summer of Mela’s, which was aired for a week on BBC Red Button in September and received approximately 1 million views. You can check that out, here.
The track successfully entered the Official Music Week UK & Europe Urban Chart at #22 as a new entry and rose to #20 the week after. After continuing support from Sacha Brooks of the Capital FM Network, 1xtra and Radio 1, the single rose to #11 the week after and broke into the Top 9 the week after that. “OMG” has officially been announced as the #2 single on the charts, only 1 place behind Will I AM, Mick Jagger and Jennifer Lopez’s hit “T.H.E. (The Hardest Ever).”
