Bikram Singh: "Kinna Sona Munda" Sunil Sehgal Remix!

NY-based bhangra artist, Bikram Singh, recently released a new album, BIK.I.AM. The album features several dance tracks and is an upbeat album that every bhangra fan should have in their collection.

The singles he’s released have already become popular dance tracks. Following “Beyonce“, Bikram released the official video for the track, “Kinna Sona Munda“. Now, he’s back with a remixed version, produced by Sunil Sehgal.

“I was immediately humming the composition of ‘Kinna Sohna Munda.’ The original production on the track is brilliant, but I heard something different, I pinged Tigerstyle to discuss doing another version of the track. I wanted to create a dancefloor banger with this remix taking out the Bhangra feel. I created a mix of dark and funky pitch bent synths mashed-up against big beats and dhol sounds.” Sunil Sehgal says.

With the remix complete, Bikram Singh is pleased with the final results. Bikram reveals,

“Sunil and I have worked on a few other projects, including “Dil Sanu De Mutiyare” on my previous album Tip Top and “Basement Bhangra Anthem” with DJ Rekha. I like his vibe and think he is a very talented producer. I am very impressed with Sunil’s style and that is why I wanted to work with him on this remix, I love how it came out at the end. This wont be the last of our collaborations.”
