Singer-songwriter and suburban Toronto native, Anjulie recently released her latest album “Stand Behind the Music.” The new album is loaded with in-your-face lyrics, electro beats, R&B grooves, a little rock n’ roll and some seductive swagger. Production on the new album to include Swedish House Mafia, Laidback Luke and Benny Benassi among others.
The first digital single “Brand New Chick/ Bitch” is officially Platinum in Canada! Anjulie’s “Brand New Chick/ Bitch” video has already garnered over 1.7 Million combined Youtube/ Vevo views alone and the single peaked in the Top 10 on the Canadian Top 40 radio charts as well as Top 15 on Billboard Canada’s Hot 100 charts.

Anjulie’s passion for music started at an early age she was even the lead in a punk band during high school before she moved to LA in 2009. She released her self-titled albumin 2009 as well on Concord Music and reached the #1 spot as the U.S. Hot Dance Club Play single with her track “Boom.” Anjulie’s “Boom” was also nominated for MTV VMA ‘Best Breakthrough Video’ and mtvU Woodie ‘Best Video Woodie.’
Anjulie not only writes her own songs but she’s penned tracks for the likes of Chris Brown, Fefe Dobson as well as the #1 radio hit “Don’t Call Me Baby” for Kreesha Turner. Anjulie’s music has been featured on shows like Bad Girls Club, Charlie’s Angels, The Vampire Diaries, Melrose Place, Canada’s Next Top Model and MTV’s The Hills and The City! She’s even toured with Raphael Saadiq, B.O.B. and Shwayze!
