‘Rishi Kapoor’ gets out of the box with ‘Dharma Productions’

Rishi Kapoor, the first ever chocolate boy of Bollywood has been an on screen lover boy for decades. From his debut as a child star in ‘Mera Naam Joker’ to his official debut as an adult actor in  ‘Bobby’ to present day, Rishi Kapoor has been loved and renowned for his romantic roles.  Now, in the new phase of his career, Rishi Kapoor is set to experiment with more varied roles.

Now after 27 years the veteran actor will re-appear under the Dharma banner doing a double dhamakawith Movies ‘Agneepath’ (26th January) 2012 and ‘Student of the Year’ in (2012 summer).  His last Dharma Productions film was with Amrita Singh in the movie ‘Dunuiya’ back in 1984.

His roles in ‘Agneepath’ and ‘Student of the Year’ are extremely different from each other and have never performed by the versatile actor ever before.  In ‘Agneepath’, Rishi Kapoor plays a negative role and in ‘Student Of The Year’ he is the dean of a school.

His look in ‘Agneepath’ (2012) trailer is being applauded world over and it looks like Rishi Kapoor has gotten the unconventional roles that he has been looking for thanks to Dharma Productions.

Rishi Kapoor says, “This is that time of my career when I get to experiment and I don’t want to play the conventional father. Besides, I can’t say no to Karan.”
