Flashmob takes over Mumbai!!

Over 200 Mumbaikars took part in one of the city’s first large-scale flashmobs at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (CST) on Sunday 27th November.

The group of people, who looked like regular commuters came together as the station blasted the title track from ‘Rang De Basanti’ and started, what appears to be, a choreographed dance routine.

Speaking to the Hindustan Times, 23-year-old Shonan Kothari, who organised the event, said: “I always wanted to be part of a flashmob, having watched several videos of it on YouTube. I decided to organise one and spread the word through friends and family, and got a very enthusiastic response.”
