'Ek Deewana Tha' digital poster revealed

Fox Star India has released the second digital poster of ‘Ek Deewana Tha’ which stars Prateil Babbar and English beauty Amy Jackson.

Directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon, the film is a remake of the Tamil film ‘Vinnaithandi Varuvaaya’. Music has been composed by Oscar winner AR Rahman.

‘Ek Deewana Tha’ tells the story of Sachin, a regular 22-year-old engineering graduate from a middle class family in Mumbai who is in love with the world of cinema. As a struggler in the film industry, he survives on his father’s pocket money desperately waiting for the day he gets entry into one of the main film camps.

He falls in love with Jessie, who’s from an orthodox Malayali Christian family where watching movies, partying or falling in love are complete taboo’s. What follows next is a mix of heartache, tears and a full blown family drama where Sachin begins to question the people in his life and his love for Jessie.
