Daler Mehndi's faith keeps him going!

Daler Mehndi, who recently made news for singing ‘Dukaalang Pranaasi,’ believes that it is his complete faith in God which kept him connected with his inner self.

 

Despite a super-successful career, Mehndi like any other person has witnessed series of unfortunate events. From the controversial album Nabi Buba Nabi, when he was asked to pull off his album by miscreants to gain mileage over a futile issue to his alleged link to the illegal immigration scandal in 2003, the forlorn controversies encouraged  him to fight the odds & strengthened his faith in God.

 

 

Despite all the hardships, Mehndi managed to retain his calmness & serenity by having complete conviction in divinity.  “Hardships in life have dragged me around but my Savior, my Guru, Baba Nanak always continued to drag me further into His heart, creating my real freedom. So just keep the faith!” quoted Daler.

As he recited & composed ‘Deh Shiva Bar Mohe Ehai, Subh Karman Te Kabhun Na Taro’ (which means ‘Grant me, O Lord, this boon, may I never falter in doing noble deeds’ ) in the upcoming movie ‘ I am Singh’ , he affirms that it was the immense faith in his Guru, that helped him rise above the detrimental effects of all the controversies.
