Blackjak Music, the talented production and songwriting group we profiled earlier this year, has just launched their electronic music project, called Jükbokx. The group was formed by two members of the team, Sameer Agrawal aka DJ Ska and Keith Hetrick aka Hat Trick, to channel their passion and proficiency for electronic dance music.
They are starting things off by remixing Canadian popstar LIGHTS’ song “Everybody Breaks a Glass” for her remix contest over at Indaba Music. Check it out here (and drop a vote while you’re there!) If Blackjak wins, it’ll only strengthen the music ties that bind Canadian artists with our desi peeps, so show the Blackjak team some love and vote!
The track has it all – shiny pads, sexy vocals, and heavy electro sonic wizardry.
When asked what their inspiration was for this track, Hetrick answered “Constellations, mind puzzles, and vodka. But that’s for all our tracks.”
With a debut like this, there’s a lot of reasons to follow these guys as they prep a string of new remixes (including some for our beloved UrbanAsian artists) and original tracks for release early next year.
