Big B Birthday!

It’s superstar Amitabh Bachchan’s birthday today and we here at UrbanAsian would like to send our wishes to the Big B. He debuted in Bollywood back in 1969, winning Filmfare’s Best Newcomer award for “Saat Hindustani,” and went on to dominate the 1970s with his “angry young man” image. In the 1980s he dabbled in politics and hit a slump in his career. However, Amitabh returned to prominence in the 2000s after appearing in the Yash Chopra blockbuster, Mohabbatein. Since then, Amitabh has again dominated the industry. Tonight, Big B will celebrate his birthday in style on Kaun Banega Crorepati, so be sure to tune in.
