We’ve heard that Rajnikant is the latest celeb to join Shahrukh Khan (SRK)’s home production, “Ra.One”! So, apparently, Ra.One no longer is just an acronym for the bad guy in Ra.One – “Random Access One” – but the “Ra” can just as easily stand for Rajnikant!
We’re not sure how SRK managed to rope in the South Indian megastar, but we’re sure it’ll add to the charm of SRK’s new sci-fi flick. Perhaps, SRK is hoping that having Rajnikant in Ra.One will bring the same success factor to him that Rajni’s presence gave to the movie Robot (aka Endhiran) earlier this year. Rajnikant will begin filming for Ra.One on October 4th in Hyderabad at the Ramoji Film City, with full filming going underway in November. This is his first time he will be shooting for a movie since his illness. Earlier this year, Rajnikant was hospitalized for gastrointestinal and respiratory problems.
Besides Rajinikanth, other celebs that will make appearances in the movie are Sanjay Dutt and Priyanka Chopra. However, only Rajnikant will be playing an ally to G.One (SRK’s character). Sanjay Dutt and Priyanka are Ra.One’s accomplices.
