Anne Hathaway’s critically acclaimed romantic drama, “One Day,” will release in India September 9, 2011! The motion picture is adapted for the screen by David Nicholls from his beloved novel, One Day.
The romantic comedy has a storyline reminiscent of the Bollywood movie “Hum Tum” where an unusual friendship suddenly begins and seems to span over many years, with the main characters developing over time and eventually falling in love. “One Day” is the story of Emma Morley, played by Anne Hathaway, and Dexter Mayhew, played by Jim Sturgess. After one day together, July 15, 1988, their college graduation day actually, the two begin their friendship that spans a lifetime.
Audiences see both Emma and Dexter move through life, until they finally realize that the one they were looking for was each other and the true meaning behind that crazy night they met in 1988.
