Step aside KJo, there’s a new chat host in town… none other than the bubbly and witty Preity Zinta! This vivacious actress is next in line after actors/film personalities Simi Garewal and Karan Johar to start her own chat show.
Preity Zinta debuted in the movie Dil Se with Shahrukh Khan and Manisha Koirala, but it wasn’t until her break through performance in Kya Kehna in 2000 that she shot to fame. Since then, she has been part of many hit movies like Dil Chahta Hai, Koi Mil Gaya, Salaam Namaste, Veer-Zara, and Kal Ho Na Ho, among others.
Preity has always been a fan favorite and has always kept a good relationship with her fan base. So, it should be no surprise that Preity turned to Twitter for help with naming her new chat show. After several suggestions, the ultimate winner was “Up Close & Personal with PZ“. Seems like a good fit!
The show will air August 27th on UTV Stars! Preity has already finished shooting with Akshay Kumar and Farhan Akthar. Hrithik Roshan will also be interviewed by Preity on her show, so fans of this on-screen pair can finally see their fav stars back together on-screen… even if this time it is the small screen!
