The masters of sound Panjabi Hit Squad are back and just in time to provide the perfect soundtrack for the summer with the undeniably addictive single “Miss Soniyeh”.
Taken from their fourth studio album World Famous (Releasing Sept 2011) it has all the trademarks of the classic Hit Squad sound fusing current commercial House and Dubstep with the Panjabi vocals of Harleen Akhter and the squad’s very own Dee.
The dynamic duo explain the reasons behind choosing the title ‘World Famous’ for their album:
“It represents the diverse sound and the range of vocal collaborations that we’ve got featuring on the album. Global artists including Alyssia, Raghav, Krishna (Maula Mere from the film Chak De India), Richa Sharma (Sajada from My Name Is Khan), Saini Surinder, Jaspinder Narula and another two ‘secret’ artists which we’ll be revealing on August 25th on our twitter page!”
