Established by Late Shri Yash Johar in 1976, Dharma Productions endeavor has always been to produce high quality cinema that is accepted and appreciated by audiences across the world.
This past Thursday, the popular production house celebrated the fifth anniversary of their movie “Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna” (KANK). Five years of love and accolades that fans continue to bestow upon the movie as August 11th holds special importance in the hearts of all Dharma movie fans!
The movie brought together a star-studded cast of Amitabh Bachchan, Shahrukh Khan, Rani Mukherji, Preity Zinta, Abhishek Bachchan, Kiron Kher and Arjun Rampal. After the release of the movie, it had become the highest grossing Indian film of all time in USA, beating Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham’s five-year old record.
The movie garnered both commercial and critical acclaim. It also received the honor of being invited to be included in the library of “The Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences!”
‘Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna’ has captured many more hearts in the last five years and Dharma Productions is sure that neither KANK nor its fans shall ever say “Alvida” to each other. Congratulations on 5 years of togetherness Dharma Productions!
