Punit Malhotra, Dharma Productions’ latest talented and enthusiastic young director has jokingly revealed that his debut movie ‘I Hate Luv Storys’ is, according to him, the “greatest movie ever made.” At 28, many may think that he’s too young to handle the intricacies of film-making, but Punit is a veteran when it comes to working behind the camera.Having assisted director-producer Karan Johar on blockbusters like ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham,’ ‘Kal Ho Naa Ho,’ ‘Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna,’ Amol Palekar on ‘Paheli’ and Tarun Mansukhani on ‘Dostana’ as creative director, Punit’s tongue-in-cheek answer to a question about how he considered his direction to be was that the director was truly talented and completely true to his craft.
He also humbly mentioned that Dharma Productions’ is very proud of the film and of course, being one of Dharma’s biggest hits last year, ‘I Hate Luv Storys’ is truly another feather in their cap.
