Drega releases video for "Overcome"

Toronto rapper Drega drops the visuals to “Overcome” of his Man of the Year Ep (out now). In May, Drega asked fans to choose a song of Man of the Year that they felt needed a video. While it was a toss up between many songs, “Overcome” eventually overcame.

The Alex Young directed clip stars teen actor, Hatim Hassanali, a victim of high school bullying who suffers terribly under a high school bully. “In the song, I touch on so many times I’ve overcame, I wanted the video to be symbolic of a specific time I had to overcome bullying”, states Drega.
