Bradford’s home grown actor Aqib Khan will celebrate the UK DVD release of box office smasher West is West at an exclusive signing in Bradford this Friday 24th June between 7pm and 8:30pm!!
The 16 year old actor shot to fame playing the role of Sajid, the youngest Khan, in the sequel to the hugely popular 1999 film East is East. The first 30 guests to arrive will receive a free signed DVD while others are welcomed to bring their own copies to get them signed.
The Nabwood School pupil has fast established a loyal fan following around the world since the film released in UK cinemas last February.
“Since West is West came out in the cinema, everyone has shown me a lot of support and I’ve had loads of positive feedback from fans on twitter. When they heard the DVD was releasing, they started requesting a signing so we ran a competition to see which city to do it in,” said Aquib Khan. “The turnout at the Bradford premiere was great so I’m not surprised my hometown won. I’m really looking forward to meeting some of my fans in person.”
