Located in the Arts bu8ilding in Midtown Manhattan, the Shaadi Studio will launch it’s Indian Couture trunk show this june!
The South Asian wedding studio will host it’s cutting edge Indian fashion trunk show for the label Shrishti which will be held June 23rd and the show will continue until June 26th. The show will be the first opportunity for fashion savants to preview Shrishti’s new line and even meet the head designer, Latha Puttana!
Shrishti combines traditional South Indian fabrics with modern cuts and silhouettes that speak to a new generation of South Asian buyers. Their 100% handmade the material of their garments are steeped with fashion history but brought into the 21st century through innovative design.
Preeti Shah of Shaadi Studio says, “We invited Shrishti to be a part of Shaadi Studio because the collection is extremely avant garde. This line elegantly manipulates traditional fabric in a way that audiences can’t find anywhere else. Latha stays true to an Indian aesthetic in her material, but is incredibly modern in her design.
