Word on the street has it the award winner for best female actress for Band Baja Baraat for this year’s IIFA 2011, Anushka Sharma, was detained at Mumbai Airport.
Anushka was returning from Toronto where she was attending the IIFA 2011 awards.
The 23-year old actress was being questioned at the Mumbai Airport for not declaring goods in her luggage that may have qualified for duty. Anuskha was reportedly found in possession of diamond and gold jewellery sets worth around Rs 45 lakhs!
Sources say she had listed the items while leaving India, but failed to mention them on her return from Toronto, Canada.
Earlier this year Bipasha Basu, Minissha Lamba and Mallika Sherawat’s brother were also detained by customs for carrying undeclared jewellery, who’s next after Anushka?!
