G-Deep has been busy the past few months touring around India. However, the Punjabi sher is back in the states and is ready to launch his fifth song/music video from his “O Billo” album titled “Rabba Mere Haal Ka Mehram Tu.” The song has a more grunge edge than we are used to hearing from G-Deep, but it succeeds on the whole. The song is dedicated to God and is a sequel to “Message to God” from G-Deep’s first album — Sher Punjabi. Like in “Message to God”, “Rabba” features a pensive and thoughtful G-Deep who shares his thanks and appreciation for all that he has been blessed with. Despite the heavy drums, you can sense the heartfelt emotional that is embedded in the tune.
The G-Deep team shares on the youtube page that “G-Deep woke up one morning and called the camera crew and headed to the city of dreams — NYC. The reason why G chose to do the video in NY is because his establishment in the music industry started from this city, he is known throughout the world as an artist from New York and G wants the world to see what this city is all about. New York is a city of hopes and dreams for many and since G-Deep’s Message to God was also shot here, G-Deep wanted to keep it similar with this song.”
