MUMZY'S "MAMA USED TO SAY"

Mumzy Stranger shot to stardom with his very first single – the epic clubbanger “One More Dance,” which released only last year (2010 summer).  Since then, Mumzy quickly became a household name around the world – synonymous with dance hits and fantastic vocals.  Personally, I’d compare his talent to artists like Usher and Ne-Yo.  The success of “One More Dance” helped Mumzy become one of the hottest artists in the UK Asian music scene and the buzz around this track helped with the success of his debut album “Journey Begins”.  If you missed our interview with Mumzy last year, do check it out – http://urbanasian.com/music/2010/12/mumzy-stranger-journey-begins/

Still high on the success of “Journey Begins” Mumzy has released a brand new single called, “Mama Used to Say” featuring Grammy-Award winner Junior.  The track is a throwback to old-school sounds of the 80s.  Mumzy, in signature style, has mixed Junior’s original 80’s hit record of the same name and remixed in into a hot new track infused with the sounds of reggae and pop.  Recently, the Mumzy and Junior teamed up for a scintillating performance of “Mama Used to Say” at the UK AMAs, where Mumzy Stranger also won the award for Best Urban Act.

As a thank you to all his fans for their support, Mumzy has released free downloads of “One More Dance”, “Showgirl”, and Mumzy’s“Mixtape” for his fans.  Before you check out the free tunes, though, head to iTunes and purchase Mumzy’s hot new single – “Mama Used to Say.
