So Much! at the JUNO Awards!

Canadian-Indian rockstar Raghav was just nominated for best R&B Soul Recording of the Year at Canada’s prestigious JUNO Awards! Of course, Raghav went to twitter to express his joy to his fans:

Raghav’s track “So Much,” which was produced by Labrinth and features Kardinall Offishall, was nominated as best R&B Soul Recording of the Year! The track has made waves across the Canadian Billboard and radio charts with a lot of airtime across the country on stations like Kiss, Vibe, Virgin and Amp. Raghav was not only nominated at the JUNO Awards but as Musical Artist of the Year at the Anokhi Awards’ 5th Annual Sexy and Successful Awards which were held February 4th at Toronto’s Liberty Grand Entertainment Complex. “So Much” was also nominated Canadian Music Week’s Best Rhythmic R&B Song! After all this success of “So Much” Raghav started recording tracks with Jim Beanz, Timberland’s right hand man!

At the JUNO Awards, Raghav’s fellow nominee’s include Karl Wolf’s “Nightlife,” Keshia Chante’s “Test Drive,” Quanteisha’s “Stars,” and “Come True” by Silver (aka Solitair) featuring Kardinal Offishall. The nominations were just announced in a press conference in Toronto. The prestigious JUNO Awards have been around for the past 40 years in Canada and each year a different set of  judges are chosen for each of the 34 categories, 340 judges in all. the judges are spread out, experts from throughout the music industry, who listen  and vote for the submission they feel deserves the award in each category.

This is Raghav’s first nomination! Hopefully the judges love Raghav’s Reese peanut butter cups!
