Drega Announces Release Date for Man of the Year EP

Our sources have revealed that artist/producer Drega has announced that he will release his ‘masterpiece’ EP titled Man of the Year on March 29th, 2011.

“Man of the Year is the beginning of my mission to make music that is more progressive and inspired. I’m getting tired of hearing rappers from Toronto sound like their from Atlanta. I’m pretty sure people from Atlanta are not buying it either. I say it’s time we put in an end to the biting and poor song writing from our artists,” says Drega.

The album which will feature heavy weights from Toronto, The Kid Famous and Marcus Voyce as well as South Asian rapper Nivla from New York is entirely produced by Drega and fellow artist/producer Neo Tempus.  As expected, Drega is most excited about collaborating with a major name like Nivla: “I’m really proud of the collabs on this album, especially the one with Nivla because I think it sends a message of unity, particularly among brown artists doing rap, as this genre can get pretty competitive.”

Man of the Year will be available March 29th on iTunes as well as at Drega’s official website, PrinceofGoa.com Stay locked to UrbanAsian.com as we bring you the latest news!
