Earlier, UrbanAsian broke to you the news that “Chhoti Bahu” (a popular ZeeTV soap) may be returning for a second season. Now, we bring to you the news that another popular ZeeTV soap, “Banoo Mein Teri Dulhann,” may also be making a come-back and having a Season 2.
ZeeTV’s shows have not been doing well as of late, so it looks like the channel is making a desperate move and resorting to bringing back their previously popular shows. Personally, I think they should leave these shows alone as they both ended well. The couples in both the shows were popular, but I’m sure that the writers will butcher these relationships if they do a Season 2 and the couples will be placed in dire situations again.
Based on how ZeeTV writers are, I bet they’ll do either all or some of the following a) kill off half the cast b) make more bad shit happen to the female lead c) break up the popular couples d) have the villain win. I feel like they should not touch the shows that ended (and especially those that ended well). What do you all think?
