Tigers with a heart of gold!

If you’re thinking all tigers are scary, let me fill you in on another type of tiger… but in the world of wrestling.

Wrestling legend Tiger Jeet Singh and his son, former WWE superstar Tiger Ali Singh, are taking part in the 2nd annual Troy’s Toy Drive at The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids).  The drive was founded by Tiger Ali Singh’s friend, Troy Newton, who came up with the idea only one year back.  In 2009, over $30,000 worth of food and toys were collected in the inaugural Troy’s Toy Drive.  Be sure to write the following info in your calendars and support these tigers with heart!

DATE AND TIME: Tuesday, December 21, 2010 at 2 PM

WHERE?: The Hospital for Sick Children / 555 University Ave. /  Toronto, ON, CANADA / M5G 1X8

In addition to collecting toys and food, Troy and Tiger’s vision is to bring people of different faiths and cultures together under one roof to celebrate the holiday season by supporting children and the less fortunate.  (Awwww, is right!)

Be sure to support this amazing cause as there will be an opportunity to take pictures with the wrestling superstars with their championship belts.   The event will also be graced by the presence of Canadian recording artist Prita Chhabra who will be singing Christmas carols for the kids.

Troy’s Toy Drive is also supported by other big names including hockey legend Wayne Gretzky’s dad, Walter Gretzky; hockey great Johnny Bower; and Ted Chudleigh, MPP (Halton), who recently discussed his support for Troy’s Toy Drive and the Tiger Jeet Singh Foundation at The Ontario Legislature at Queen’s Park:
