For the November and December 2010 issue of India’s top magazines, Bollywood Diva’s control the cover pages.
Sonam Kapoor, Asin, Aishwariya Rai Bachchan, Kangana Ranaut, Frieda Pinto and Sonakshi Sinha grace the covers of Verve, Grazia, Elle, L’Officiel, Harper’s Bazaar and Marie Claire Magazine. Besides veteran Aishwariya Rai Bachchan, all of these actresses are fresh faces to the Bollywood scene ( and in Pinto Bean’s case, the Hollywood scene as well!) They’ve each had hits and misses already and are working their way up. These girls are the Rani, Kajol, Raveena, Priety and Karishma of today, I think?
Sonam Kapoor looks intense on this futuristic and fashion foward Verve magazine covor. I like that the entire cover is all in shades of the same colors, like purple, gray, black and white. gives the cover a dark look. Reminiscing on the days of “Saawairya” Sonam? The Grazia cover however is simply light and airy with the pari Asin giggling away. Very natural, just how we love Asin!
The former beauty queen looks very regal on the 14th Anniversary Issue of Elle Magazine. The white and beige cover looks sophisticated and elegant, but a bit bland. Ash’s pale skin seems to blend into the white background, the only difference is her pink tint (at least we know she has blood flowing like a human, I have my doubts at times, how else could she look that gorgeous?) Kangana Ranaut on the other hand is practically popping out of the L’Officiel cover! Her red Elie Saab outfit is sophisticated yet sexy. Kangana looks a bit frightened on the cover however, too chilly Kangana?
Young, fresh, sweet with a little bit of sexy all blended together on these covers! Frieda Pinto and newbie Sonakshi Sinha simply brighten up the cover pages of Harper’s Bazaar and Marie Claire with their big smiles. In case you don’t recognize her, Sonakshi Sinha is the daughter of actor Shatrughan Sinha who made her debut along side Salman Khan in the hit “Dabaang!”
