Every since Slumdog Millionaire, it seems as though Hollywood has finally opened its eyes to Bollywood. Last week, I was watching Jeopardy with my Mom at home. Surprisingly, one of the questions was on Bollywood:
The question – the wording is probably not 100% but the jist was:
“Shahrukh Khan, Salman Khan, and Aamir Khan are actors in what film industry?”
2 of the 3 players got it wrong, but 1 smartie answered with the response I’m sure you all had the second you saw the words “Shahrukh” and “Khan” in the sentence = Bollywood.
Pretty cool to see such a question on a top US show!
