DDS’ latest track “Ik Jindree” (featuring the US’ own King of Bhangra – Bikram Singh – and newcomer, Ishmeet Narula, of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa USA fame) is now making waves in the UK.
Earlier this weekend, “Ik Jindree” made it onto the BBC Asian Network’s “Playlist” which features some of the hottest desi tracks to be circulated on air. “Ik Jindree” has also been popular on the Bhangra Breakdown show with Dipps Bhamrah. In fact, two Bikram songs were featured – “American Jugni” and “Ik Jindree.”
Let’s hope that the divide between UK and US artists continues to get smaller and more artists are given the air time they deserve.
