Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's Dad No More

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan‘s father Krishnaraj Rai passed away in Mumbai on Saturday evening. He was hospitalized a few weeks ago due to health-related issues, a family friend informed.

 

Aishwarya, who was in Dubai for some work, cut short her trip as soon as her father was admitted to a hospital in suburban Mumbai. Her husband Abhishek Bachchan also rushed back from New York to be by his father-in-law’s side.

 

According to reports, Ash’s father continued to be in a critical state throughout his stay at the hospital. In fact, there was only minor improvement in his condition.

 

Krishnaraj Rai had faced similar health problems in January this year.
