In recent times, I will be a part of this huge movement where an agency is putting more than 9lakhs tress in Pune and they are not only planting it but will also struggle for the survival of the these trees. At home we have stopped using plastic bags since ages. My mom apparently has put this quality in us. And yes in my house, in Pune since childhood we have been planting one plant on the occasions like my birthday. We have a well too at our Pune house. In Mumbai also we are particular about being environment friendly.

I don’t use plastic bags at all. Whenever I shop I ensure I don’t use plastic bags. I also ensure garbage should be thrown at the right place. Wet and dry garbage should be separated and spitting on the road should be fined. We can’t be polluting our roads. Hygeine is very important at all levels for better environment.

I’ll ensure that all the garbage wet and dry is separated before throwing. Clean air and clean water is the necessity everywhere. Environmental consciousness should be the way of life. I am very particular about hygiene in my home. No one should throw garbage on road. I object if I notice someone throwing it.

I don’t throw any garbage on the road and I get offended if anyone does it. I am very particular about not using plastic any form since three years. Change has to begin from us. We have to take initiative and increase awareness. Disposable paper plates should be used everywhere instead of plasticplates at popular chaat outlets.

In malls people waste a lot of food so we ourself should make sure we don’t do it as ‘Change starts from us’ and lot of plastic is used instead eco- friendly crockery should be used like paper plates, disposable cups and glasses.

I ensure that less water is used for washing my car and one should do car pooling so there is less pollution as most actors working on the same show can save time and energy both by travelling together. Car should be checked for PUC regularly as smoke pollution from cars can be a big issue in a big city where the cars on the road is increasing day by day.

Birds and animals make an important part of our environment so I ensure to keep a pot filled with water for the birds as crow and parrots often come in my balcony. I also use recycled water of vegetables washed into my plants. I also ensure I don’t waste electricity and use solar energy whenever possible.

I always prefer eco-friendly crockery be it home or at a mall. I am very particular about my car servicing too. People don’t get car serviced timely which is very important. The black smoke is very injurious to environment.
