Rakhi Sawant and controversies go hand in hand. the actress who will be next seen portraying the character of Indrani Mukerjea in her upcoming thriller film Ek Khaani Julie Ki has been place in the limelight after pointing a few fingers. it seems as though Rakhi is ready to lash out at those who have been pointing a finger at her.
In a recent interview Rakhi Sawant replies to Mahika Sharma who pointed Indrani for doing nothing for the home state Assam as a citizen. Rakhi says,
“Mahika even after being an artist. You cannot blame other for not working for her birth land. I don’t feel it’s an artist duty to work for any state. The government whom the citizen of Assam has elected must work for the state.”
Also, Rakhi tries to dig few of her past controversial topics to grab some more attention. Earlier a year back Rakhi had claimed that Assam former Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi is her ‘good friend’. Interestingly, then Gogoi had denied even knowing Rakhi. Addressing media he had said,
“Yeah, I have heard that Rakhi is saying about me. But I do not remember whether I have met her or not. May be I have met her once, but where and when I forgot. If everyone starts claiming like that I will be good friend of many. I have also told my wife that I do not know Rakhi Sawant well and that I have not met her on many occasions as she said. So I do not think that should be problem between her and me.”
Now Rakhi lashes out on Mr. Gogoi during an interview.
“If Tarun Gogoi fails to know me then I’ll say even I don’t know him anymore. I feel sad about it. Even I don’t want to disclose anything regarding us.”
Rakhi also adds,
“If people of Assam are ready to help me financially I will definitely work for the state by promoting the state via movies and reality shows.”
