Born and brought up in Mumbai, TVF is now home! Akanksha caught the acting bug early in life but could not pursue it, because of her father was very keen that become a Pilot. During her college days in Mithibai, she pursued her first love – theatre where she acted in several college dramas and then subsequently performed in theatre productions at the NCPA and hosted Disney Live Shows.
Akanksha started her career auditioning and acting in theatrical productions and Disney Live Shows. The turning point in her career was Ek Thi Behen which went viral and people started noticing her acting prowess. After that, there was no looking back. She enjoys acting and associating with genres as diverse as they get — from psychotic thrillers to horror, action and romance!
